India's two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar, who wason the run for over a fortnight for alleged links with the murder of formerinternational wrestler Sagar Dhankar, has been arrested this morning by DelhiPolice.

Kumar was wanted by Delhi Police since last over 20 days andeven Rs 1lakh was announced on information leading to his arrest in the case.

As per reports, Sushil has been arrested along with aco-accused from northwest Delhi's Mundka, police officials said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) P S Kushwahinformed that a team of special cell led by two inspectors Shivkumar andKarambir, and supervised by ACP Attar Singh, following a tip-off, arrestedSushil Kumar and Ajay from Mundka area of Delhi today morning.

According to Police, on May 4, two groups of wrestlersclashed with each other at Chhatrasal Stadium leading to the death of23-year-old Dhankar due to injuries he sustained during the brawl.

Meanwhile, last night there were reports that Sushil Kumarwas arrested near Jalandhar by Punjab Police. However, the Delhi police todayclaimed that he was arrested near Delhi.
