Chhota Rajan: A history of crimes, yet VIP COVID-19 treatment at AIIMS

As women and men of India breathe their last outside hospitals, a man who murdered 70 individuals receives taxpayer-supported treatment.

Known all over as Chhota Rajan, Rajendra Nikalje, who was in Tihar Jail tested positive for COVID this Monday.

The man who killed 70 individuals was rushed to a premier medical institute AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) for treatment on priority basis.

Since Chhota Rajan was kept in solitary confinement, thus the only possible cause seems to be catching the disease from asymptomatic jail personnel, claim the prison officials.

The gangster is 62 years old and also has underlying co-morbidities.

The nation is outraged at not only the seemingly wasteful expenditure of AIIMS but the stark difference in attitude of the government in their behaviour towards a woman or man on the street versus this man who in his lifetime ended the life of more 70 people.
