Ace comedian Kapil Sharma often remains in the limelight be it due to his show or because of its post due to his controversial posts. Kapil literally knows how to be in the media limelight. Now, reports are doing rounds that the Kapil Sharma Show will be going off-air from mid-February. 

 Going by the reports, the comedy show will return with a new season. But this may take about 3 months. The show has been running since December 2018. Reports state that the makers do not have a plan to revamp the show. The life of Kapil's show is the audience. But Corona does not have a live audience. Films are also not releasing, so Bollywood actors are not coming on the show to promote a film. 

Now, Kapil Sharma has confirmed the report that the show will go off-air. Kapil on Thursday did an interactive session #askkapil in which a fan asked that whether The Kapil Sharma Show is ending soon? Kapil responded to it and said that it is not ending but it is going on a break. 

The makers believe that it would be right to take a break for the show right now when things are normal, the show will also return. Even, Kapil is all set to become a father again, therefore the break will also give the comedian an ample amount of time to spend with his wife Ginni.

Kapil also revealed why the show is going off-air by himself. The Twitter user asked, “@KapilSharmaK9 sir, show off air kyu kr rhe h #askkapil”. Replying to the same, Kapil Sharma wrote, “Bcoz I need be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby”.
