Bigg Boss OTT fame star Uorfi Javed often grabs the media spotlight due to her bold dressing sense. Wherever she goes paparazzi follow Uorfi Javed and snap her pictures which later go viral in no time. Uorfi Javed's fashion and dressing sense often become the talk of the town. While a section of the media supports her in whatever she wears and flaunts, another section finds it obscene. Now, the 25-year-old social media influencer and reality TV star has found herself in legal trouble as a Police complaint has been filed against her. As per reports, Uorfi Javed is facing a Police complaint for allegedly committing illegal and obscene acts in public places.

As per a leading newswire, a written complaint has been submitted against Uorfi for allegedly committing illegal and obscene acts in public places and on social media. The written application was submitted by lawyer Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh at Andheri police station on Friday. "We received an application with this regard two days ago," a Police official was quoted by a newswire.

Notably, Uorfi has been at loggerheads with multiple celebrities under similar contexts and the most recent one being with writer Chetan Bhagat. Chetan Bhagat sparked off controversy after he commented about Urfi Javed's outfits and her 'distracting boys' at a literature festival recently.

The author was quoted saying, "Phone has been a great distraction for the youth, especially the boys, spending hours just watching Instagram Reels. Everyone knows who Uorfi Javed is. What will you do with her photos? Is it coming in your exams or you will go for a job interview and tell the interviewer that you know all her outfits?"

Irked by this statement of Chetan, Uorfi reacted to it sharply and accused him of 'promoting rape culture'. She wrote on her social media, "Stop promoting rape culture you sickos out there! Blaming a woman's clothes for the behaviour of men is so 80's mr @chetanbhagat. Who was distracting you when you messaged girls half of your age? Always blame the opposite gender, never accept your own shortcomings or faults! People like you are misguiding the youth, not me. Encouraging men to put the blame on the woman or her clothing when they are at fault."
