The Bihar Polls results seem to have induced a crack in the Grand Alliance as the Congress and the RJD on Monday indulged in a war of words. While the RJD performed brilliantly and emerged as the leading party, the Congress secured only 19 seats.

As a result, RJD senior leader Shivanand Tiwari slammed Rahul Gandhi for his casual approach in the Bihar Polls. He said, "Congress turned out to be a shackle for the Mahagathbandhan. They had fielded 70 candidates but didn’t hold even 70 public rallies. Rahul Gandhi came to Bihar for just three days, Priyanka didn’t come, people who were unfamiliar with Bihar came here. This is not right."

"Even Congress's senior leadership wrote a letter to Sonia and Rahul but it was of no use. Here in Bihar, the election was in full swing while Rahul Gandhi was busy in a picnic in Shimla with Priyanka Gandhi," he added.

Now, Congress has hit back and took the fight further by calling RJD only a regional party while Congress being the national party.

Congress leader Tariq Anwar said, "Shivanand Tiwari is senior and must think before making such remarks. Congress isn't RJD. RJD is a regional party and its leaders are confined to Bihar. Rahul Gandhi had said he'll come to Bihar whenever needed and he did so. He can't work like leaders of RJD."
