In what you can call a rare sight, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut maybe for the first time got support from a senior Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi. Netizens on Twitter trolled and criticized IGP, Home Secretary, Govt of Karnataka, D. Roopa. after she lost an argument over Diwali from a pro-Hindu page. Going by the reports, a Twitter page named True Indology was asked by D. Roopa to show citations in the Hindu scriptures that show people used to burst crackers. In response, the Twitter page showed a number of Shlokas and paragraphs from a range of Hindu texts.

After that, she continued arguing with the page and ultimately the page got suspended on Twitter. This earned Roopa a lot of criticism and even Bollywood actress Kangana called Roopa a product of reservation who is unworthy to sit in such a decorated position.

Interestingly Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi too slammed the woman IPS Officer. The Congress leader on his Twitter wrote, "Doesn't befit IPS officers of the country to be arguing with anonymous Twitter Handles that too during working hours. Make a point, let it go, you aren't winning anything by arguing on SM!"

Kangana on this replied, "Living off on tax money, these cops are answerable for arm twisting commoners, it’s a valid question rather than taking people’s complaints and assisting them, why is @D_Roopa_IPS indulging in time pass trolling that too in working hours threatening and intimidating youngsters."
