Amid the scuffle between Capt Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu’s advisors, CM might be facing another attack by his own party members. In the latest development in Punjab politics, several Congress leaders and MLAs have gathered at the residence of state Cabinet Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa.
The reason for the gathering is not known yet. However, the meeting is suspected to be against CM Amarinder Singh as several state Congress members are demanding that Capt should not be the face of the party in the upcoming 2022 state assembly elections.
Several party leaders and MLA’s believe that Capt’s has failed in leading the party and should be removed from his position.
State Cabinet ministers present in the meeting are- Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Charanjit Singh Channi, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. Over 20 MLAs have gathered at the residence of the cabinet minister.
These MLAs are- Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Surjit Singh Dhiman, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Avtar Singh Henry Junior, Harjot Kamal, Amrik Singh, Santokh Singh, Parminder Singh Pinki, Madan Lal Jalapur, Gurkirat Singh Kotli, Lakhvir Singh Lakha, Davinder Ghubaya, Pritam Singh Kotbhai, Kulbir Singh Zira, Darshan Brar, Dalvir Singh Goldy, Pargat Singh, Kaka Randeep Singh, Angad Singh, Ajit Inder Singh Mogar Ex-MLA and others.
