Amid the scuffle between Capt Amarinder Singh and NavjotSingh Sidhu’s advisors, CM might be facing another attack by his own partymembers. In the latest development in Punjab politics, several Congress leadersand MLAs have gathered at the residence of state Cabinet Minister TriptRajinder Singh Bajwa.
The reason for the gathering is not known yet. However, themeeting is suspected to be against CM Amarinder Singh as several state Congressmembers are demanding that Capt should not be the face of the party in theupcoming 2022 state assembly elections.
Several party leaders and MLA’s believe that Capt’s hasfailed in leading the party and should be removed from his position.
State Cabinet ministers present in the meeting are- TriptRajinder Singh Bajwa, Charanjit Singh Channi, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. Over20 MLAs have gathered at the residence of the cabinet minister.
These MLAs are-Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Surjit Singh Dhiman, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, AvtarSingh Henry Junior, Harjot Kamal, Amrik Singh, Santokh Singh, Parminder SinghPinki, Madan Lal Jalapur, Gurkirat Singh Kotli, Lakhvir Singh Lakha, DavinderGhubaya, Pritam Singh Kotbhai, Kulbir Singh Zira, Darshan Brar, Dalvir SinghGoldy, Pargat Singh, Kaka Randeep Singh, Angad Singh, Ajit Inder Singh MogarEx-MLA and others.
