For the third night in a row, Pakistan launched drone-based attacks targeting Punjab. Jalandhar was among the worst-hit areas, where six loud explosions were heard around 1:50 AM in central and adjoining parts of the city.
Following the blasts, sirens began to sound throughout the area. Drone movements were reportedly seen at two locations in Jalandhar, though there has been no official confirmation yet from the authorities.
As a safety measure, the entire city was plunged into blackout, which lasted until 4:00 AM.
This incident is part of a larger pattern of drone threats, with 26 locations across India, including Baramulla, Jammu, Pathankot, Ferozepur, Fazilka, and Bhuj, reporting drone sightings over the past 24 hours.
The Indian Armed Forces are maintaining high alert, tracking drone movements and neutralizing threats using advanced counter-drone systems. People in affected areas are advised to stay indoors and follow all official instructions.
