As many as four people died in a terrible accident near Delhi's ITO when an autorickshaw was crushed by a container vehicle on Saturday.
All travelling in autorickshaw- three passengers and the driver - died on spot.
The accident occurred at around 6:30 am on December 18 (Saturday) at ring road near ITO in Delhi. According to sources, four people were travelling in an auto when a container fell on the
vehicle, killing all on board. The driver of the container vehicle fled the scene after the accident.
People who witnessed the accident early in the morning informed police about the accident after which a team was rushed to the scene. Police have managed to recover the bodies of the deceased.
A case has been filed against the unnamed container driver. Meanwhile, police are trying to apprehend the driver who is on a run and the owner of the container on the basis of documents
discovered in the vehicle.
Identification of the deceased is yet to be done.
