While Israel-Hamas remain in a state of war after the armed Palestinian group launched a terror attack in Southern Israel on October 7, Pro-Palestine groups have been carrying demonstrations worldwide. Although US President Joe Biden has backed Israel and its right to self-defense, thousands of Pro Palestine protestors have taken the streets against Israel. Now, Cooper Union New York City video has been going viral on social media.

A group of Jewish students had to lock themselves inside Cooper Union's library in New York City as hundreds of Pro Palestine protesters pounded on the doors chanting 'Free Palestine'. Furthermore, the Cooper Union NYC video showcased that the protesters shouted "Globalize the Intifada," escalating concerns about potential physical assault.

As per US media reports, Cooper Union College officials rejected the claims, stating that the library was closed for about 20 minutes. The protest focused on addressing the Gaza bombing, while a counter-protest displayed photos of hostages taken by Hamas. At one point, protesters attempted to enter the school president's office building, leading to police being called for safety reasons.

Reportedly, Police had to be called in to escort Jewish students out alive.
