With the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government, a swearing-in ceremony is going to be held at Khatkar Kala on March 16, for which many changes have been made. At the same time, all the restrictions related to Covid-19 were lifted a day before the ceremony.

Punjab Government has taken this major decision keeping in view the Corona cases.

The Aam Aadmi Party has won a large majority in the Assembly elections. Apart from this, a major controversy has erupted even before the swearing-in ceremony of Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate Bhagwant Mann.

100 acres of standing wheat has been harvested for the function to be held at Khatkar Kala. The parking space has been created by leveling the ground with JCB machines and tractors. This raw wheat has been harvested prematurely due to which nearly Rs. 46,000 per acre compensation amount has been assured to the farmers whose land is going to be used for parking of the function.

It may be mentioned that an expenditure of Rs. 2 crores has been sanctioned for this function. In addition, a large number of people are expected to attend the event. Preparations for this program are in full swing. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will also attend the function and Bhagwant Mann also invited the people of Punjab to attend the function. He requested women to bring saffron shawls and men to come wearing saffron turbans during the event.
