Ludhiana DC Varinder Kumar Sharma today announced changes in curfew timings and restrictions. The development came after the businesspersons in Ludhiana demanded relaxation in timings owing to losses.
Earlier the weekday relaxation timings were 5 am to 12 noon and the same has been extended by one hour from 5 am to 1 pm.
The Ludhiana DC after reviewing the COVID situation, has ordered the following changes have been announced in the Ludhiana curfew:

· All shops, private offices, and private businesses can remain open from 5 am to 1 pm.
· No dine-in at any eating place like restaurants, cafe, coffee shop, fast food outlets, Dhaba, bakery, Halwai, etc. To clarify, no customer to sit inside these shops’ premises.
· Take away is permitted, like all other shops, from 5 am till 1 pm.
· Home delivery of cooked food from 5 am till 8 pm.
· E-commerce companies, courier companies, and the postal department can operate for door-to-door delivery till 8 pm
