Ludhiana DC Varinder Kumar Sharma today announced changes incurfew timings and restrictions. The development came after the businesspersonsin Ludhiana demanded relaxation in timings owing to losses.
Earlier the weekday relaxation timings were 5 am to 12 noonand the same has been extended by one hour from 5 am to 1 pm.
The Ludhiana DC after reviewing the COVID situation, has orderedthe following changes have been announced in the Ludhiana curfew:
· All shops, private offices, and privatebusinesses can remain open from 5 am to 1 pm.
· No dine-in at any eating place like restaurants,cafe, coffee shop, fast food outlets, Dhaba, bakery, Halwai, etc. To clarify,no customer to sit inside these shops’ premises.
· Take away is permitted, like all other shops, from5 am till 1 pm.
· Home delivery of cooked food from 5 am till 8 pm.
· E-commerce companies, courier companies, and thepostal department can operate for door-to-door delivery till 8 pm
It is reminded that the curfew will remain in effect tillMay 31, 20
