COVID-19 has been once again becoming a health threat for the people living across the world; and a few cases have also been reported in India. However, the situation is stable in Punjab and the health officials claim that it is fully prepared to counter any kind of COVID wave.
And the preparations for the same have already commenced, under which the citizens are asked to follow all the basic safety measures, which will surely prevent the spread of infection.
The health authorities has shared some Do’s and Don’ts which are as follow -
Do’s -
1 The health authorities have appealed to the elderly, pregnant women, immunocompromised and people with health issues to visit crowded places with a face mask on their face.
2 The healthcare staff have been asked to wear face masks and follow all the COVID-19 appropriate behaviour.
3 While sneezing or coughing people are advised to use a handkerchief or tissue.
4 If an individual is feeling sick then he or she must wear a mask and visit a doctor on the basis of precautions.
Don’ts -
1 Don’t touch your face unnecessarily and ensure to touch after washing your hands.
2 Don’t spit in public
3 Avoid visiting crowded and closed places, especially during the time of any sort of health complications.
4 Don’t go for self medication, visit a doctor if you are not feeling well.
What did CM Bhagwant Mann ask the general public?
Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann has asked the general public of Punjab to remain responsible and follow all the possible precautions for the safety and security.
While addressing the public, he said, “We’ve fought this together before, and if needed, we’ll do it again — but this time with awareness and wisdom.” He furthermore assured that the government has been working tirelessly to monitor the situation regularly and safeguard the public.
