CPI (M) protests against charge sheet filed against Sitaram Yechury, ongoing 4G ban in Jammu and Kashmir.

Srinagar, (SOFI JAHANGIR): CPI (M) Jammu and Kashmir on Monday held a protest against the charge sheet filed against Sitaram Yechury, and ongoing restrictions on 4G mobile internet.

Scores of CPI (M) workers and leaders assembled at Srinagar's Press Enclave and held a protest demonstration.

Ab Rashid, State committee member CPI(M), as per the True Scoop condemned what he termed as a false case against Sitaram Yechury and demanded that his name should be withdrawn from the charge sheet.

He added that it is unfortunate that people of Jammu and Kashmir are being deprived of 4G mobile internet services when rest of the world is preparing for 5G internet service

The protesting leaders demanded the 4G ban should be immediately lifted in J&K.  

Rashid further demanded the release of political leaders arrested after the abrogation of article 370 and 35A.

The protestors further stated that unemployment has taken a heavy toll on the youth, adding that the unemployed should be provided allowances until they get any job.
