Virat Kohli will be leading The Indian Cricket Team for first time in this World Cup as a captain. This time Kohli will be playing his third World Cup, he has already been part of this event twice in 2011 and 2015. MS Dhoni, who led India to their second world cup title in 2011, was spotted along with 14 others selected for the World Cup, beginning on May 30 in England and Wales.

When Kohli asked about the Round Robin format of the World Cup that it makes the world Cup one of the most challenging ones, where each team will get to play against every side at least once. After 1992 the Round Robin format will be once again appear in this World Cup.  

Kohli said, “Certainly most challenging World Cup considering the format of the tournament, also if you look at all the teams, they are really close. Even someone like Afghanistan has made so much progress in 2015. Every game will have to play best to our potential, its a different challenge which everyone will have to adapt to.”
