The viral video showcases, Gordan Radman, 65, leaning toward German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. When the Croatian Foreign Minister was about lock his lips with Annalena Baerbock, the German Minister turned her face away. As a result, they greeted each other cheek to cheek.
Annalena Baerbock and Gordan Radman kiss controversy sparked a social media debate as well with women slamming the Croatian Minister. Gordan broke his silence on the viral video and was quoted saying, "I don't know what the problem was... We always greet each other warmly. It is a warm human approach to a colleague."
However, Radman was slammed by Croatian women's rights activist Rada Boric who termed his gesture as "highly inappropriate", adding that "warm greetings" should happen only among those whose relationship allows kissing.
