The District and Sessions Judge Munish Singal and DeputyCommissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Friday kick-started a Covid inoculationcamp in the judicial complex.
The camp was organized in the District Bar Associationlibrary in association with DMCH, Ludhiana.
Lauding the efforts of the District Bar Association fororganizing camp, District and Sessions Judge Munish Singal and DeputyCommissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma termed the vaccine as great hope against thepandemic which is spreading aggressively in its fresh wave.
They said that those countries where the vaccination drivewas initiated before India, have been witnessing very fewer cases than India.
They said that the vaccines have been rolled out afterseveral rounds of trials by scientists and they have burnt the midnight oil forus so now it is the duty of all to get the vaccine by reposing faith in them.
They urged the people to shun the vaccine hesitancy andaccept the Covid shots to build vaccine-induced herd immunity. They said thatit is really sad that the people of the targeted category are not much comingforward in many numbers for the vaccine despite the surge in the Covid cases.
They said by embracing the vaccine and adhering to theCovid protocols, we can win the war against the invisible enemy in form of theinfectious disease.
They told that we are lucky enough to have two vaccines tocontain spike as several countries in this world are still in the process ofdeveloping the vaccine.
