Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have been shooting for a grandiose song of 'Pathan' in Mallorca, a Balearic Island of Spain, for the past few days. The two are now set to head to Cadiz and Jerez in Spain where they will wrap up the schedule on March 27.
SRK and DP's pairing has delivered historic blockbusters and there is a definite intent by the makers to make 'Pathaan' their biggest film to date. On working again with Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika said during an interview with India Today, “We just have one schedule left, but working with him is always great. I feel at home, I feel safe, I feel secure that he's just the person he is. Even Siddarth Anand (Pathan's director), for that matter, I've worked with him before and I think he has evolved so much as a director since I worked with him 10 years ago. So, yes, I think that working with SRK is something I look forward to. He is my safe place.”
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika first time worked together in Om Shanti Om, directed by Farah Khan. They later worked together in Happy New Year and Chennai Express.
On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Amazon Prime’s Gehraiyaan. after Gehraiyaan, the actress has 5 exciting movies coming up and Pathan is one of them. On the other hand, 'Pathan', which marks SRK's comeback to movies after almost four years, will see him essaying the role of a spy. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films.
