In a bizarre development, students of Deer Creek High School were made to kiss and suck the feet of donors during a charity event. Deer Creek High School which is situated in Edmond, Oklahoma has been under fire on X for organizing such a weird charity event. Now, Deer Creek High School students video are doing rounds on social media and Americans & other people are demanding a strict action against the educational institution and the donors who participated in it. In fact, a few have also been demanding to arrest Deer Creek High School's donors who participated in such act. 

 

The video was shared on X with the caption, "GRAPHIC WARNING- Video sent to FOX 25 shows students at Deer Creek High kissing and sucking on feet yesterday. @DCAntlers confirms the video, saying the students volunteered in challenges to help raise money for their annual philanthropy week."

 

Notably, Deer Creek School District released their official statement on Friday after the video sparked a massive uproar on social media. As per Fox 25, Deer Creek High School hosted an assembly called Clash of Classes for students to pay to attend. Students in 9th through 12th grades volunteered to participate in different class competitions. 

 

Deer Creek School District reacts to viral toe sucking video

 

The US media quoted the school's official statement which said, "This afternoon, Deer Creek High School announced a grand total of $152,830.38 raised for Not Your Average Joe Coffee, an organization created to 'inspire our community by including students and adults with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities,' according to their website. This total was raised through a week of events and activities at both Deer Creek High School and Deer Creek Middle School, all designed to bring our community together for an extremely impactful organization.

 

On Thursday, February 29, 2024, Deer Creek High School hosted an assembly called the Clash of Classes for students who paid to attend. During this assembly, ninth through twelfth grade students volunteered to participate in various student-organized class competitions, in the spirit of raising money for NYAJ. All participants in the assembly were students who signed up for the game(s) they played ahead of time.

 

No Deer Creek faculty or staff participated in any of the games during this Clash of Classes assembly. Many dedicated students gave generously of their personal time to achieve this momentous accomplishment, which will serve communities beyond the boundaries of Deer Creek. We would like to thank all of the patrons, businesses and sponsors who contributed to the success of this year’s Wonderful Week of Fundraising."
