Delhi Assembly Polls: AAP releases manifesto, will pursue work if comes into power

The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday, released its party manifesto for Delhi Assembly Elections scheduled to be held on February 8.

The manifesto was released by Chief Minister and party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia among other party leaders- Gopal Rai, Sanjay Singh.

In its manifesto, AAP promised doorstep delivery of ration, free pilgrimage to 10 lakh senior citizens.

In a press conference, Manish Sisodia said "AAP has the vision to run the government and to ensure that common people live their lives happily. In the last five years, we have worked to make Delhi a modern and advanced capital. And the manifesto lays out a map for further pursuance of that objective."

He further added, if the party comes into powwer, we will continue to put our efforts for the passage of Delhi Jan Lokpal Bill. The visison behind the manifesto document is to empower the youth, women and common man.

BJP and Congress have already released their manifesto for the elections.

The assembly elections on all 70 seats are scheduled to be held on February 8 and the counting of votes will take place on February 11.
