
AsDelhi keeps on gasping for oxygen, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that thegovernment has decided to import 18 oxygen tankers and 21 ready-to-use oxygenplants from France to manage the oxygen prevailing oxygen crisis.
ArvindKejriwal said that the tankers will start arriving from tomorrow.
Whileaddressing a press conference, CM Kejriwal said, “Delhi Government hasrequested Centre to allow use of Air Force planes for this. Talks are underway withcentre government for the same, we are hopeful for the assistance and this willsurely resolve our issue of transport”.
Besides,to address shortage of oxygen tankers in the country, the union government has alsoimported 20 cryogenic tankers of 10 MT and 20 MT capacity and allocated them tothe states.
MadhyaPradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Gujarat will get two 20 MT cryogenic tankerseach. Uttar Pradesh (three), Rajasthan (four), Delhi (three) and Gujarat (two)will get 10 MT cryogenic tankers.
