Delhi Metro on 'red alert', seeing uproar on Article 370

New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Network on Monday sounded a red alert on the entire network in the wake of the government's move to repeal Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir. 

The DMRC has asked the commuters to allow extra time in the security checks in view of the alert.

The security alert was issued by the DMRC on the advice of the security agencies.

It follows after the government's move to revoke Article 370 in the Upper House of the Parliament on Monday.

''Security Alert. As advised by security agencies, a red alert has been imposed on the entire DMRC network. Please allow extra time in security checks'', the official twitter handle of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said.
