Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor join hands again for a second collaboration for the film The Crew after the success of Veere Di Wedding which will also be a female-led film just like their earlier venture. The long-awaited release date for then most ambitious project by the producers has finally been unveiled by the makers as the film is all set to make it to the big screen on 22nd March 2024.
The film will be directed by Rajesh Krishnan of 'Lootcase' fame and stars an all-female cast consisting of Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon in the leading roles. The male actors accompanying them will be the famous Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh and renowned comedian Kapil Sharma who will be making a special appearance in the film.
The film follows the story of three women who work and hustle to move on with life in the struggling airline industry. But as they try to make their way forward, their differing fates lead them to some unexpected and unwarranted situations, leading them to get caught in a web of lies. The film will be shot in Mumbai and Abu Dhabi and is a joint production venture between Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films Communication Network.
The film promises an interesting, unconventional, and original storyline, providing a taut thriller to the audiences with a talented star cast who will definitely pull a large number of audiences into the theatres just like the first collaboration between the producers.
