“Disturbing News”: tweets Capt Amarinder Singh after blast in Ludhiana court complex

On Thursday, a massive explosion took place in Ludhiana’s court complex. At this time there is an atmosphere of chaos on the occasion because many people are reaching the Court. Two people died and several people were injured as the wall collapsed. 

Ludhiana CP, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said, “An explosion was heard near the Record Room on the second floor of the Ludhiana Court complex. One person died, two persons were injured in the incident. The bomb disposal team and forensics team have been called from Chandigarh for the probe. There is no need to panic.”


 “I am going to Ludhiana. Some anti-national elements are doing such acts as Assembly elections are nearing. The government is on alert. Those found guilty will not be spared,” said Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi on the explosion at Ludhiana District Court Complex.

Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has condemned the blast and said, “I am going to Ludhiana. Some anti-national elements are doing such acts as Assembly elections are nearing. The government is on alert. Those found guilty will not be spared”. 

Former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh is also one of the prominent Punjabi politicians who reacted to this blast. Captain Amarinder Singh took Twitter and wrote, “Disturbing news of a blast at Ludhiana court complex. Saddened to know about the demise of 2 individuals, Praying for the recovery of those injured. @PunjabPoliceInd must get to the bottom of this.” 



The explosion took place on the second floor near Court number 9. The Investigation team has left Chandigarh and will soon reach Ludhiana and will inspect the location.
