Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the most brilliant actors in Bollywood history. In his small career in the industry, the actor has turned in a number of praiseworthy performances. Did you know, though, that he intended to stop performing and something else in life?

That's right, you read that correctly. Sushant used to talk of quitting the film industry and doing farming or planting trees around the country, according to filmmaker Rumy Jafry, who revealed this in a media interview. The filmmaker also revealed that the actor would sometimes wish to become a scientist so that he could invest in something, while at other times he would simply want to return to his Lonavala home and alone.

Rumy had reportedly gone on to say that Sushant had told him about his depression. The director would often try to cheer him up, but he never asked as to why he was in such a bad mood. Sushant was set to act alongside his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty in Rumy Jafry's next untitled flick.

He was most recently seen in Mukesh Chhabra's directorial debut, "Dil Bechara," in which he co-starred with Sanjana Sanghi. The film was made available through an OTT platform. It garnered positive feedback from the audience.

On June 14, 2020, the actor died after his body was discovered hanged in his Mumbai flat under mysterious circumstances. The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED), and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) still investigating the case.
