CM’s Doctor brother revolts because of not getting a ticket, Would contest as an independent from Bassi Pathana

There has been a big revolt in Punjab Congress. Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi's brother Dr. Manohar Singh has announced to fight independent. He was seeking ticket from Bassi Pathana assembly. Congress did not give him a ticket. In his place, sitting MLA Gurpreet Singh GP has been trusted.
After the first list of 86 candidates of the Congress came out on Saturday, Dr. Manohar met the supporters on Sunday. After which he revolted. He said that the surveys were in my favor. I had applied for the ticket also but I was not given the ticket.
Dr. Manohar Singh was a government doctor in the Punjab Health Department. His appointment was the post of Senior Medical Officer in Kharar Civil Hospital. He resigned from the post a month ago. After which he became active by going to Bassi Pathana. Opening the office there, he also started meeting people. This seat is SC reserve.

After the activation of CM Channi's brother from Bassi Pathana, this matter also reached Punjab Congress President Navjot Sidhu. After this Sidhu reached there to rally in favor of sitting Congress MLA Gurpreet GP. There he said that the GP will be the candidate from there. Sidhu also supported the GP at the time of announcement of the candidate.
Dr. Manohar had started activities in Bassi Pathana only last year during the Corona pandemic. He was becoming very famous among the people at the time of posting in the Primary Health Center of Nandpur Kalaur. In view of this, the sitting Congress MLA from there Gurpreet GP got him transferred. Dr. Manohar is a Post Graduate in Anesthesia, MA in Journalism and a Law Graduate from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Congress is arguing for one family-one ticket formula in this matter. Congress has given ticket to CM Charanjit Channi from Sri Chamkaur Sahib. After this ticket could not be given to anyone else in his family. For this reason Congress did not give ticket to Dr. Manohar.
