Among the much-awaited movies of the year, Dunki will hit theaters on December 21, 2023. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki revolves around a group of friends who aspire to go to London, however, are not bright in English. The answer is yes. Taapsee Pannu's character's name in Dunki is Mannu. During a discussion for the Red Chillies YouTube channel, Shah Rukh Khan, Raju Hirani, and Taapsee Pannu talked about the 'real-life' Visa Engineer Mannu. However, not giving away much, Shah Rukh Khan shared a picture of an office named The Visa Engineers. Interestingly, SRK took a dig at Taapsee Pannu saying that she studied to become a 'Visa Engineer'. However, in reality, there is no such post like a Visa Engineer. But, Visa Engineer is the name of an office which is involved in immigration services in Jalandhar, Punjab.
Interestingly, The Visa Engineers shared the clip on their official Facebook handle expressing their gratitude to the film-makers and Shah Rukh Khan for featuring them.
