Want to earn easy money by sitting at home? The Government of India is giving people an opportunity to win Rs 15 lakh.
The Centre announced a plan to form a Development Financial Institution (DFI) dedicated solely to infrastructure funding in the Union Budget 2021. Under the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP), the Centre plans to invest 111 lakh crore in over 7000 infrastructure projects by 2024-25.
MyGov India's official Twitter handle and website- mygov.in has provided information regarding this. “The execution and completion of these projects would require timely finance, and the requirement of finances is large,” says the website.
Other lenders will be forced out by this Development Financial Institution, not the other way around. It will not be able to complete all of the tasks on its own. As a result, it will not only be a credit and credit-plus service provider, but also an enabler and catalyst for a new infrastructure ecosystem built on collaboration and partnership.
Its operations will focus on risk mitigation, product innovation, green and ethical fund access, and assisting in the development of a thriving bond market.
What do you have to do?
The Ministry of Finance is inviting individuals to come up with a name, a tagline, and a logo for a Development Financial Institution (DFI) that captures the spirit of the above-mentioned activities.
The name, tagline, and logo should reflect the motivation for establishing the Development Financial Institution (DFI) as well as what it will/can deliver. It should function as a visual signature that is easy to remember and pronounce.
Each of the three aspects would stand out on its own, but together they would form a cohesive package.
The competition will accept entries until August 15, 2021.
As we celebrate Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava with India@75, entries will be judged on their creativity, vibrancy, and ability to connect with the theme. Citizens and all stakeholders should reflect the spirit of New India.
