A massive development is coming in Sushant Singh Rajput's case as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is looking into suspicious Rs 17 crore transactions. Going by the reports of India Today, ED has found a suspicious payment worth crores, allegedly made to the late actor by a producer with whom he had worked on a film in the past.

Reports say that payment, which is being investigated, was for a film named Raabta that released in 2017.  Producer Dinesh Vijan was questioned by the agency last month and was asked to submit some documents related to the payments made to Sushant Singh Rajput for the film. Dinesh Vijan had submitted some documents but failed to submit details of the shoot budget for the overseas shoot that was carried out for the film in Hungary.

Now Republic TV Channel reports state that the ED has sent a Letter Rogatory to the Hungary government seeking help in investigating the details of the alleged suspicious missing payment. The alleged transaction is with regards to the late actor’s remuneration for the 2017 film Raabta.

ED wrote a letter Hungary government as it was not satisfied with Dinesh Vijan's answers. The ED is investigating the financial angle of the FIR registered by Sushant’s family against Rhea Chakraborty and others, in which they have alleged that Rs 15 crore was transferred to an unrelated account, among other accusations.

It is suspected that producers show inflated expenditure to foreign governments, especially in the European countries, to avail the payment perks and use it to pay actors working with them in the respective film or pocket it. Further, it is suspected that the money is then routed to India through hawala channels from the respective foreign country.
