Edu Secy mobilises teachers and students for ‘Mission Shat Pratishat’

The Education Secretary, Krishan Kumar, visited a number of government schools situated at different villages and towns in the district Pathankot today and took stock of the on-going pre-board examination.

He interacted with the students and teachers to have first hand feedback from them about the preparation for the ensuing Board examination to accomplish "Mission Shat Pratishat".

He lauded the dedicated efforts being put in by the school teachers for extension and augmentation of the infrastructural facilities as well as catering to the quality education needs of the students and parents.

Later, the Education Secretary, while presiding over the meeting of School heads of the district  at Government Senior Secondary School, Lamini, he asked them to ensure meticulous execution of the plan at ground zero level to translate the "Mission Shat Pratishat" into reality.

He asked them to ensure extensive use of simplified learning material, model question papers, "Punjab Educare App" "Each One, Ask One", "Buddy Groups" so that examination oriented revision of syllabus could be done effectively.

He also exhorted the school heads and teachers to make the public aware about the  infrastructural facilities as well as quality education available in the government schools to gear up for " Each One, Bring One" drive so that  enrollment could be enhanced in government schools.

Assistant Director, SCERT( Trainings), Salinder Singh also addressed the meeting.
