The School Education Department has started 'EnrollmentWeek' to motivate people to enroll their children in government schools.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the schooleducation department said that 'enrollment week' started yesterday and willcontinue till March 27. 

The aim of this drive is to inspire people to enrolltheir kids in government schools. According to the spokesperson, teachers areplaying an important role in 'Enrollment Week'. In this week teachers to willgo door to door, install flexes in villages, meet the alumni of the schools andeminent personalities for the said purpose. 

They will also register thechildren of 3 to 5 years on e-Punjab with the help of Anganwadi workers.

The school education department has already constituted'Enrollment Booster Teams' to run the enrollment drive in government schools.To run this campaign, posters, videos, short films showing the features ofgovernment schools are being prepared and promoted through social media. At thesame time, flexes are being placed in common places.
