'Enrollment Week' kick starts for admissions in government schools in Punjab

The school education department has already constituted 'Enrollment Booster Teams' to run the enrollment drive in government schools.

The School Education Department has started 'Enrollment Week' to motivate people to enroll their children in government schools.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department said that 'enrollment week' started yesterday and will continue till March 27. 

The aim of this drive is to inspire people to enroll their kids in government schools. According to the spokesperson, teachers are playing an important role in 'Enrollment Week'. In this week teachers to will go door to door, install flexes in villages, meet the alumni of the schools and eminent personalities for the said purpose. 

They will also register the children of 3 to 5 years on e-Punjab with the help of Anganwadi workers.

The school education department has already constituted 'Enrollment Booster Teams' to run the enrollment drive in government schools. To run this campaign, posters, videos, short films showing the features of government schools are being prepared and promoted through social media. At the same time, flexes are being placed in common places.
