In a massive development in the ongoing probe of the TRP Scam case, former Broadcast Audience Research Council's (BARC) CEO Partho Das Gupta has been admitted to the hospital. Partho was arrested by the Mumbai Police on December 24. Later he was sent to judicial custody at Taloja Jail exactly where Republic TV chief Arnab Goswami was sent.
Recently, WhatsApp chats of approx 500 pages retrieved by the Mumbai Police was leaked online. Following that he was taken to JJ Hospital (Mumbai) at 1 pm on 15 January in an unconscious state. He was moved to the ICU at 5:00 am on 16 January because his blood sugar level had shot up.
The information was shared by Partho's daughter on Twitter. Dasgupta is reportedly not responding to voice command and has become incoherent. He has been shifted to the intensive care unit at the hospital.

It is quite ironic that hours after WhatsApp chats of Partho leaked online he was shifted to hospital under serious condition. Right now, Partho's condition is critical.
