Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut is making waves after his speech in Nagpur. Raut spoke of former J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik’s statement, in which he said, PM Narendra Modi had dissuaded him from speaking about the lapses that led to the Pulwama terror attack. He questioned whether the Pulwama attack was staged by BJP members for the express purpose of winning the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He continued to target the Narendra Modi led BJP government and said that the charge of sedition should be brought up against them.

On Friday, Ex-Gov. Malik revealed the facts mentioned above and clarified that the CRPF had demanded an aircraft to ferry its people as a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying 2500 people was a massive security risk. The attack occurred in February 2019 and caused the death of 40 CRPF personnel as a suicide bomber rammed an explosives laden car into a CRPF bus.

Sanjay Raut spoke of the attack and reminded people that the opposition had raised many of the same questions in the days that followed it, but were deemed ‘anti-national’ and ‘traitors’. He added that these were important questions that must be asked, for it is unacceptable to think 40 jawans might have died for political gain. Raut also raised the question of how the RDX reached Pulwama despite heavy security and why there was no air support provided to such a large convoy. He demanded that the Modi government be booked for sedition and strict action be taken against the ministers involved.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal says “If I am corrupt then no one in the world is honest”

Raut didn’t refrain from talking about apparent biases in the government’s approach. He mentioned the Modi government’s failure with regard to capturing Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi and Vijay Mallya. Gautam Adani also made his list, as he wondered why a probe had not been launched to uncover his questionable financial dealings. Raut added that the government was too busy sending central agencies after the opposition, in an attempt to frame them.

“The BJP is trying to break the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), using the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate, Arvind Kejriwal has been slapped with a CBI notice, CM Tejaswi Yadav received ED and CBI summons” said Raut. How the BJP will respond to these scathing allegations is yet to be seen but Sanjay Raut has managed to ask some very tough questions that many seek answers to.
