Famed Indian cricketer Taruwar Kohli and the talented Indiancricket team batting coach Vikram Rathore join hands and choose Jalandhar,Punjab to be the first city to open their sports facility with a difference.
Other cities like Ludhiana, Amritsar, etc do not have suchfacilities. Also, this concept is popular in metro cities, so why not bringthis to the city of Jalandhar.
Their cricket academy will hone the talents of those whowant to gain the skills and practice in cricket and also want to actualizetheir dreams of competing for the national Indian tram.
In addition, Box Cricket, Box Football, Kid’s Zone, andother facilities are provided.
Cameras installed on all the fields will allow for ThirdUmpire in case a difference of opinion arises as to the decision during thegameplay. Cameras are installed for both cricket and football fields.
The impetus behind this venture is the desire to providepeople a place to spend quality time with their friends and relatives of allage groups.
Further, the team behind the project claim that they havekept the charges reasonable and there will a slight difference in the per-hourrate on weekdays as compared to weekends. Also, the charges during the day willbe different from the charges at the night.
Vikram Rathore claims that he is honoured to be a part ofthis project and also that it is “high time” that Jalandhar gets anestablishment like this.
