Fazilka district of Punjab witnessed the 2023 Republic Day celebration in a totally different way. A video from the district has gone viral of DC IAS Dr. Senu Duggal dancing on the beats of patriotic songs. She can be seen enjoying and dancing to songs reflecting patriotism during Republic Day celebrations.
Reportedly, the video that has surfaced was shot on 26th January 2023 in Fazilka district of Punjab. A live band was being played by BSF personnel for the Republic Day celebration when DC Dr. Senu Duggal also danced with other locals and officers. The video is from Ghanta Ghar Chowl of the district.
DC Dr. Senu Duggal posted this video on her Twitter handle a day ago. As soon as the video went viral, she received a lot of appreciation from the people. People said that through her dancing video, she is sending a great message. They said that she is teaching people to never let the feeling of patriotism fade away from their hearts and enjoy it to the fullest even if they are some officials.
While sharing the video of her Twitter handle she wrote, “Live band by BSF in historic Ghanta Ghar Fazilka. People of the city and Jawans danced to the patriotic and folk tunes played by band.”
As per information, IAS Dr. Senu Duggal, took charge of Fazilka two months ago on 11th December 2022. She is the third female official to take charge of a sensitive district like Fazilka. Dr. Seenu Duggal’s main priorities are the upliftment of schemes related to cleanliness, education, health, security, wellness of our elderly citizens, traffic and environment.
Prior to this post as DC Fazilka, she was holding the two important posts of Special Secretary (General Admin & Coordination) and Special Secretary Printing and Stationery.
