In remembrance of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Ford Company Chowk in Bihar's Purnia has been renamed as 'Sushant Singh Rajput Chowk. Mayor Savita Singh changed the name of Ford Company Chowk to Sushant Singh Rajput Chowk on behalf of the Municipal Corporation. Also, the path from Madhubani Chowk to Mata Sthan Chowk was named Sushant Singh Rajput Path.
The Mayor said that this is a tribute to the son of our soil on behalf of all Purnia. She said that she has written a letter to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister for the CBI inquiry into the death of Sushant Singh. I have full faith in the Government of India and Bihar that the government will certainly allow the CBI inquiry.
Sushant Singh Rajputs is natively from Bihar's Purnia. His ancestral home is in Bihar's Purnia district. Sushant had visited Purnia a few years back and there are many videos which are viral from his Purnia visit.
