Former Congress Rural Development Minister Tript Rajinder Bajwa is on the radar of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab. Action is also being taken against 2 IAS officers. They are accused of a scam of 28 crores in the land deal in Amritsar.

Kuldeep Dhaliwal, the current rural development minister, has submitted a report to CM Bhagwant Mann. Due to the addition of two IAS and the names of former ministers, Minister Dhaliwal claimed that he was not authorized to take any action. Therefore, the report has been given to the Chief Minister.

Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal told that the panchayat had sold land to Alpha International in village Bhagtupura in Amritsar. As soon as the government was formed, there was a suspicion of fraud of crores in this sale. He formed its 3-member investigation team on 20 May. After the investigation report came, it was handed over to the CM.

According to Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal, the investigation showed that the Congress government was withdrawn on March 10 as soon as the result of the election was announced. On the morning of March 11, the Congress government's CM Charanjit Channi resigned. Despite this, the minister signed the file on the same day.

The Code of Conduct was also in place at that time. The question is, how was the file which kept circulating for 4-5 years, signed so quickly? On the other hand, Bajwa says that if the government had any objection, it would have stopped the registry. Unnecessary allegations are being made.
