Former Union Minister and Member of Parliament of Bathinda Harsimrat Kaur Badal tested positive for covid19 on Friday.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader took to twitter to share this information and requested all those who came in contact with her to isolate themselves.
"Dear all, I've tested positive for COVID-19 today with mild symptoms. I have quarantined myself at home and am taking all the necessary precautions. I would request all those who came in contact with me to isolate and get themselves tested at the earliest”, she shared on Twitter.
Meanwhile, as per sources, Harsimrat held a few meetings with SAD workers in Bathinda on Thursday. Also, three workers at her Badal village residence have tested positive.
Earlier, her husband, SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal had tested Covid-19 positive in March. He was discharged from a Gurugram private hospital on March 24.
