Gangster Rana Kandowalia, who was shot dead by two unidentified men at a private hospital in Amritsar on Tuesday night, has been declared dead today by Police Commissioner Sukhchain Singh Gill.
Kandowaliawas shot by some unknown persons on the third floor of the hospital on Tuesday while he was going to meet his sick wife. He was then soon shifted to ICU and was undergoing treatment, however, today morning doctors first declared his condition critical and later declared him dead.
Meanwhile, a Facebook post on an account named Bhgwanpuria Jaggu today morning claimed the responsibility of the murder. He through his facebook post said that he and Goldy Brar hatched the conspiracy, while he was shot dead by their accomplice Mandeep Toffan Batala.
Jaggu said that Rana used to support Vicky Gondar and Davinder Babiha in the past and he had warned him of the consequences. He even wrote that they had alerted Rana several times to mind his own business and not to work against him by colluding with anti-party.
The post also claimed that Rana Kandowalia and gang killed Gurlal Brar, and this move by them is nothing but revenge. They even left a warning for others and said “those who are working against us or are hand in gloves with our anti-parties must take care of themselves”.

Moreover, the police have booked four persons, including Jagroshan, Mani Rayya, both are said to be close accomplices of gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, and two unknown persons in this connection.
Police officials have also said that they are checking the authenticity of social media posts and will take action.
