Gauahar Khan slapped with FIR by Mumbai Police for violating Covid-19 rules

Gauahar was found absent from her home when a BMC official reached her place.

Actress and Big Boss 7 fame Gauahar Khan has fallen into legal trouble on Monday when the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) was booked for going out for a film shoot despite testing positive for Covid-19 and flouting covid guidelines. 

DCP Chaitanya S confirmed to ETimes, "Gauahar has been booked for violation of COVID rules. She had tested positive for coronavirus and was supposed to stay home and quarantine but instead went for a film shoot."  

She was found absent from her residence when a BMC official reached her place.

Tweeting about the case, the Mumbai Police from its official Twitter handle, said, "No ‘Role’ Greater Than Helping Keep Mumbai Safe! FIR has been filed against a Bollywood actor who flouted quarantine rules and went shooting after testing positive for COVID19. We urge citizens to ensure a well-deserved climax for the virus."

Gauahar Khan who was the winner of the Big Boss 7, has appeared in several Bollywood movies like ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’, ‘Ishaqzaade’ and ‘Begum Jaan’.
