In view of the Shobha Yatra being organized in the city to mark the Parkash Utsav of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji Maharaj tomorrow, District Magistrate (DM) Vishesh Sarangal on Thursday declared a holiday on Friday (October 27) in all government/private schools or colleges and ITIs falling under jurisdiction of Municipal Corporation.
Disclosing this here today, Sarangal said that as there would be a Shobha Yatra in Jalandhar city on Friday (October 27) and considering the sentiments of the people, orders have been issued for holiday in all government/private schools, colleges and ITIs falling under jurisdiction of Municipal Corporation.
