Ina matter of great pride for Nawanshahr district, the "Magic SquareGame" prepared by Jatinder Singh Pabla (State Awardee), Math Master,Government Senior Secondary School, Mallupota and Mechanical Toys prepared bystudents of Government Senior Secondary School, Nawanshahr, have been selectedfor the first ever National Toy Fair being organised virtually from February 27to March 4 under the aegis of NCERT.
Themechanical toys were prepared by students including, Jaswinder Singh, GursimranKaur, Isha under the guidance of their science teacher, Sanjiv Duggal. “Thestudents and teachers expressed happiness over the achievement and said thatthe recognition have further motivated them to be self-reliant and take Indiatowards ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’”, said Jagjit Singh, DEO.
TheSCERT has invited online entries from different districts for participating inthe National Toy Fair. As many as 15 Educational Toys were screened online.
DistrictEducation Officer(Secondary), Jagjit Singh, Deputy District EducationOfficer(Secondary), Amrik Singh, Principals, Narinder Singh and Sarbjit Singh,lauded the achievement of the teachers and students.
