Another video related to the Gurdwara Sri Akal Bunga Sahib case in Sultanpur Lodhi, Kapurthala is going viral on social media. In this video late night during gurupurab , some mischievous elements forcefully broke the lock of the main gate of Gurudwara Shri Akal Bunga Sahib in the presence of police. Whereas on November 23, the district administration took action under Section 145 and had possession of the said place.
In the video, the fire brigade vehicle parked outside the main gate of Gurudwara Sri Akal Bunga Sahib was forcibly removed. Then the lock on the main gate was opened forcefully and the Sangat entered inside. It is mentioned that as soon as the receiver Tehsildar of Gurudwara Sahib came to know about this, he immediately called more police force and got the gate of Gurudwara Sahib closed.
On the other hand, according to DSP Babandeep Singh, some Sangat wanted to pay obeisance at Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib. But when he conveyed that Section 145 was imposed on the said Gurudwara Sahib, they went back.
Here it is mentioned that on the morning of 23rd November, during the firing between police and Nihang Singhs at Gurdwara Akal Bunga Sahib, a Punjab Home Guard jawan was martyred and Tehsildar Vishal Verma was appointed receiver of Gurdwara Sahib under section 145 of CRPC. ISince then the gate of Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib was locked.
