Gwyneth Paltrow, an MCU star and Hollywood actor, has a close connection with Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. In the Iron Man and Avengers films, they played each other's partners, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. Paltrow and Downey Jr. are also friends since Paltrow is close with Susan, Downey Jr's wife.
Paltrow previously expressed her admiration and appreciation for her Iron Man co-star to People.com while discussing their chemistry. “Obviously, all of the Iron Man and Avengers movies developed my bond with Robert Downey Jr. She had remarked at the time, "I feel like I was able to meet an amazing, everlasting, motivating partner and friend."

Fans of the film 'Pepperony' will be disappointed to learn that Paltrow did not like being kissed on-screen by Downey Jr. During a Goop podcast with her friend Kate Hudson, she described it as one of the worst experiences of her career, saying, "With Robert, it was one of the worst experiences of my career. “With Robert, like, when I kissed him, I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me, this is literally like kissing my brother.”
