Halwa Puri to eat, 3 blankets to sleep: How did Elvish Yadav spend his first night in jail?

Elvish Yadav was sent to 14 days of judicial custody after he was produced by the Noida Police in front of the court.

Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner & YouTuber Elvish Yadav on Sunday was arrested by Noida Police after interrogation in the snake venom case. Elvish Yadav was sent to 14 days of judicial custody after he was produced by the Noida Police. Six people, including YouTuber Elvish Yadav, were booked under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly providing snake venom for a rave party in Noida’s Sector 51 which was a sting operation by Maneka Gandhi's People for Animals. The other five were arrested and Elvish's role in the rave party and in procuring snakes for such parties was being probed. Reports suggest that the Noida Police arrested him after Elvish Yadav confessed to his crimes. Now, the question arises how did Elvish Yadav spend his first night in jail? 

 

Jail Superintendent Arun Pratap Singh was quoted by a news portal revealing how Elvish Yadav spent his first night in jail. Arun Pratap Singh reportedly informed that the YouTuber was given three blankets to use as per the rules. The report further claimed that Elvish wasn kept in the quarantine barrack and will soon be moved to the general barracks. The jail administrator also revealed Elvish was served food from the jail menu on Sunday night. This includes puri, vegetables, and halwa.

 

Arun revealed that Elvish had a sleepless first night in jail. It is said that Elvish was restless and spent most parts of the night awake. Apart from this, Elvish Yadav interacted with inmates as well. As per reports, Elvish is likely to meet his family on Monday, March 18.

 

As per reports, Elvish has confessed of supplying snake venom. As a result, the Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner is now facing charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. The law under Section 29 deals with the buying and selling of drugs. It is reported that getting bail under this law is tough.
