In Amritsar, four shooters of the Happy Jatt Group, an opponent of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang, were apprehended by the Rural Police. Three of the four apprehended suspects were captured by the police using planning, while one turned himself in to the police in fear.

Police have also recovered four pistols from all four. The initial investigation found that the suspects intended to murder two Jaggu gang members.

Amritsar Rural Police SSP Swapan Sharma said that the Crime Branch teams had information about the accused. Following this Prabhjit Singh alias Prabha, and Gurdeep Singh alias Geeta were first arrested from village Jandia and Pritpal Singh alias Pappu from Verowal after raiding.

Manni alias Dudi, a native of Jandiala Guru, surrendered in court out of fear of arrests. The accused was found with a 32-bore and another with 30 bore pistol, according to the police.

SSP Rural said that a total of 18 cases are registered against the Happy Jatt gang in different police stations in which there are three murder cases. Other cases related to extortion, robbery, etc. During interrogation, the accused informed that the accused were planning to kill two associates of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, but before that, they got caught by the police.

Police informed that these weapons were delivered to the accused from Indore in Madhya Pradesh. Police have traced the accused who brought the consignment of weapons to Punjab, soon the accused will also be caught.
