21-year-old Haryana girl shot dead after she denied to sit in car, family alleges 'love jihad'

Time change, location change but something that is perpetual is growing crime against women. Another incident that shook the nation on Monday is the deponent of the fact that women's security is taken for granted everywhere. 

A 21-year girl was shot dead outside the college in Ballabgarh in district Faridabad, Haryana. The incident happened when the girl had come out of college after appearing for an exam.

Reportedly, the case is of abduction and murder. The accused who came driving a car tried to abduct her but as she withstood one of the accused shot her dead.

After shooting the girl dead, the accused absconded from the spot following which police launched a manhunt to nab them. However, now both the accused--Tauseef and Rehan have been arrested by the police. 

The whole incident was recorded on CCTV cameras and the video is doing rounds on the internet.

During the investigation, it has been found out that one of the accused was known to her. The known accused is identified as Tauseef hailing from Sohna, Haryana. A few months ago a complaint was filed by the family of the victim for harassment and molestation.

The family has claimed the incident as a case of ‘love jihad ’saying that their daughter was forced to convert and marry the accused. The case has been registered but the real reason behind the incident is yet to discover, said police.
