On Friday, Bihar former Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal senior leader Lalu Prasad Yadav celebrated his 74th birthday with his family. His supporters showered wishes and greetings on him.

- Lalu Yadav was just 29 when he was elected as a member of Lok Sabha in 1977.
- Lalu Yadav is unaware of his actual date of birth, he follows the date given on his educational certificates, which is 11th June 1948.
- He is known for his hilarious speeches, but he holds a Master's Degree in Political Science and a degree in LLB.
- His party was recognized by the World Bank in 1990.
- His biography was released in 2015, which was named ‘Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav’, he also had a cameo in it.
- During his tenure as CM of Bihar, he got LK Advani arrested, when LK Advani was doing Rath Yatra to Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir movement.
- He resigned as CM of Bihar after his name was highlighted in the fodder scam, he handed over the reins of Bihar to his wife Rabri Devi.
