Happy Birthday Lalu Prasad Yadav: Here are some impressive facts about the veteran RJD leader

On Friday, Bihar former Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal senior leader Lalu Prasad Yadav celebrated his 74th birthday with his family. His supporters showered wishes and greetings on him. 

Here are some interesting unknown facts about veteran Politian Lalu Prasad Yadav:

• Lalu Yadav was just 29 when he was elected as a member of Lok Sabha in 1977.
• Lalu Yadav is unaware of his actual date of birth, he follows the date given on his educational certificates, which is 11th June 1948.
• He is known for his hilarious speeches, but he holds a Master's Degree in Political Science and a degree in LLB. 
• His party was recognized by the World Bank in 1990.
• His biography was released in 2015, which was named ‘Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav’, he also had a cameo in it.

• During his tenure as CM of Bihar, he got LK Advani arrested, when LK Advani was doing Rath Yatra to Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir movement. 
• He resigned as CM of Bihar after his name was highlighted in the fodder scam, he handed over the reins of Bihar to his wife Rabri Devi.
• Names of his sisters-in-law are Jalebi, Raasgulla and Paan.
• He named his daughter Misa Bharti on the Maintenance of Internal Security Act (MISA).
• Lalu Yadav is a father of seven daughters and two sons. His son Tejashwi Yadav is a well-known face and had played IPL under Delhi Daredevils. 

This year, Lalu Prasad Yadav celebrated his birthday with his family after a gap of many years. The pictures of his birthday celebration were shared by his daughter Misa Bharti on Twitter, she used the platform to wish her father a happy birthday with an emotional note.

Today, on the occasion of Lalu Prasad's birthday many programs have been organized. Lalu Prasad’s elder Tej Pratap would plant 74 saplings in Patna and a blood donation campaign has been organized at RJD’s office, Patna.
