The three Indian scientists have been working on the origin of Coronavirus. Apart from a Pune-based couple, Monal Rahalkar and Rahul Bahulikar, the third scientist, who is known as The Seeker has made the world to re-think about the lab-leak theory related to the origin of Covid-19.

The enigmatic person is said to be in his 20s or 30s, lives in the east part of the country. He is an architect, a filmmaker, and a former science teacher.

The Seeker, as the world knows him, has told a media organization that he prefers to remain behind the mask as he is not looking for fame and glory. He also said that does not want to ‘trade off’ his safety and privacy by revealing his identity.

When he was asked that why he has started researching on the origin of coronavirus, he said, “My insatiable curiosity drew me into this. It’s been over a year now, and I’ve devoted many working hours to it.”

Reportedly, the Seeker is a part of DRASTIC, which is a team of strangers from different backgrounds combined on the internet to research on the origin of Covid-19. The Seeker has dived into every hidden corner and has revealed some troubling evidence that is enough to raise questions on the Wuhan Virology Institute’s link with the origin of the pandemic.

Speaking about the Seeker, Monali said that he is an intelligent person. She said, “He is a very friendly and jolly person. He has some knowledge of the Chinese language and he is an open-source of intelligence".

However, the members of DRASTIC interact through direct messages on Twitter.

The Seeker has last year found a master’s thesis from China. As per the thesis in 2012 six miners went into the bat-infested mine in Mojiang. Later the six were contracted to mysterious respiratory diseases and three of them have died.

The Seeker said, “I have seen an overwhelming amount of facts and data that points towards a lab-leak scenario.” He further said, “Well, we took a theory from the realm of ‘no. it’s a conspiracy’ to ‘hey, we need to investigate it further.”

The Seeker got worldwide attention after this data-mining thesis was revealed. On this, he said, “I’m amazed myself… I wasn’t expecting this to blow up all of a sudden.”

When he was asked about his next mission, he said, “It’s a question I keep asking myself, but honestly I have no idea. I just keep going from one day to next.”
