Highlighting ‘emotional well-being’ importance during lockdown Deepika Padukone shares few helpline numbers

Following the cycle of help Deepika Padukone on Sunday joined the cue of actress and took to her social media to share the list of verified mental health helplines.

Where India is fighting the covid-19 pandemic and the health infrastructure is getting overburdened, many Bollywood celebrities have taken up the charge to support the nation in crisis time. From donating medical equipment and oxygen to setting up fundraisers actors and actresses have been working in doing their bit. Following the cycle of help Deepika Padukone on Sunday joined the cue of actress and took to her social media to share the list of verified mental health helplines.

Today, all of India is forced to stay indoors once again because of the lockdown and people are left with no task. Deepika Padukone highlights the importance of mental health and emotional well-being. While sharing the list of helpline numbers Deepika writes, “ as millions of us (me and my family included) strive to stay afloat, let us not forget that our emotional well-being in this current crisis, is equally important! Remember, You Are Not Alone. We are in this together. And most importantly, there is HOPE! #YouAreNotAlone @tlllfoundation”.


Other the Deepika, Alia Bhatt has also collaborated with journalist Faye D’souza for amplification of resources like hospital numbers across various cities in India. Meanwhile, actors like Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Sonu Sood and Taapsee Pannu has also shared their bit to the covid crisis.

As for this week, the Indian film industry mourned the sad demise of actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal. The actor passed away due to covid 19 complications. Since the year 2020, the industry has lost many celebs. Recently, Randhir Kapoor has also been diagnosed with covid-19.
